Learn more about the company

Premium tee times are hard to come by, especially during peak times like weekend mornings. RapidTee Golf helps golfers unlock tee times they never could before. We have our finger on the pulse of tee time inventory across the country and notify golfers when something they want becomes available.

We're a fast-growing startup on a mission to create the best booking experience for golfers and make premium tee times accessible to everyone. This is your chance to play a critical role in a revolution of the tee time booking industry.

As a Senior Software Engineer at RapidTee Golf, you will:

  • Work closely with the founders and CTO daily
  • Work on a production system that has real customers and real revenue
  • Ship features to production early and often
  • Take ownership of all parts of the engineering process, from inception, system design and architecture to testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Help shape our engineering culture and how we build software

Our core principles:

  • Ownership & Accountability: you treat the work as yours, not just the code you wrote, but the outcome it produces. You see a feature through from first commit to verified-working-in-prod. You don't hand things off once your piece is built and walk away. You obsess over quality and completeness and test your work thoroughly.
  • Communicate & Document Early and Often: communication isn't a soft skill, it's an engineering discipline. The team moves faster when everyone knows what's being built, what's broken, and what's been learned.
  • Experiment & Innovate: we stay close to the edge. We actively seek out better tools, better methodologies, and better ways to build, and we bring what we learn back to the team. Stagnation is a choice we don't make.

Our tech stack:

  • Frontend: SvelteKit (TypeScript)
  • Backend: SvelteKit & Node.js (TypeScript)
  • Storage: PostgreSQL, Redis, S3
  • Async work: Lambdas, SQS, EventBridge
  • Deployment: AWS (Lambda, S3, CloudFront)
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions
  • IDEs: Cursor, Claude Code, Codex

Minimum requirements:

  • 2 years of TypeScript experience, Node.js preferred
  • 2 years of relational SQL experience

Compensation and benefits:

  • $110–140k salary depending on experience
  • Company equity
  • Insurance
  • 401k
  • Paid time off
  • Unlimited snacks and drinks
